Street Parking

The surf club has nine on-street parking spots in Hanlan Street and also on The Esplanade marked Surf Life Saving vehicles only. These are strictly for use by members who are on patrol at that time.

A members parking permit must be displayed on your vehicle otherwise you will be fined by the council parking inspectors. Parking permits are available from our admin office.

Underground Parking

Secure parking have kindly donated free parking passes to the underground carpark below the Centro Shopping Centre.

Secure Parking passes are limited and are divided between those:

- On patrol at that time when the street parking is full.

- Undertaking training or assessments with the Chief Training Officer

- Training with the club surf coaches

- Those undertaking nippers activities

The passes are reusable HOWEVER they need to be used to enter the carpark and then exit the carpark in that particular order . You do not need to go to the attendant to exit. You just need to go through the centre aisle. Therefore, please collect your pass before entering the carpark from your co-ordinator and return back to them, or if they are unavailable to the bar.

Parking Behind the Club

Members ARE NOT allowed to park behind the Surf Club at any time. That includes the one position that is available for the patrol vehicle.

Any cars that do so will be towed.

The patrol vehicle is only able to park there when loading or unloading through the week, and is not to be left there for any length of time on patrol days.
