LEADING SURF SAFETY PROGRAM
Our Nipper program emphasizes learning, building confidence, and having fun in a safe beach environment. The skills gained will be cherished for life, like sand sticking to the soul. Children will learn to identify beach dangers and, most importantly, how to stay safe.
Children aged 5 to 13 years (Under 6 to Under 14) can join the program. Our Sunday sessions offer a controlled environment for swimming, board paddling, wading, beach sprints, and flags.
Lifesaving is a family affair, and there are many ways parents can support their child’s involvement in Junior Activities.

NIPPER MEMBERSHIPS
NIPPER FAMILY PACK 1 $200
1 x adult
(with a current SLSA award) and 1 x nipper.
Additional $50 for each extra nipper &/or 1 x extra adult
(with current SLSA award)
Nipper family Pack 2: $240
1 x adult
(no current SLSA awards) and 1 x nipper.
Additional $60 for each extra nipper &/or 1 x extra adult (without current SLSA award)

It’s almost time to get your feet back on the sand for Nippers. Sign on days have been confirmed so keep up to date with all the info for the 2026/27 via our social pages.
- Sunday, 20 September 2026: 8:00 – 9:00 am (back to Club @ 9.30 am
- GOLD COAST AQUATIC CENTRE
- What to bring: swimmers, goggles, sunscreen, towel, parent/guardian driver’s license/passport (for new members only), Play On Voucher
- Nipper Start Date: Sunday, 27 September 2026.
